The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol has funded more lecturers to teach in Further Education Colleges across Wales.
As a result, Welsh medium provision will be available in Agriculture at Coleg Sir Gâr, under the guidance of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and in Health and Socialcare at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor, Llandrillo Menai.
Trystan Griffiths is keen to expand on the provision which already exists in Agriculture at Coleg Sir Gâr’s Gelli Aur campus:
‘‘I’m looking forward to working with the agriculture department at Gelli Aur and the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, and also lecture and develop useful resources for students.’’
After having spent some time lecturing under the auspices of the Coleg Cymraeg at Swansea University, Delyth Lloyd Griffiths will now expand on the Welsh medium provision offered to Health and Socialcare students at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor, Llandrillo Menai.
Dr Ioan Matthews, Chief Executive of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol said:
‘‘We were glad to be able to support these appointments and see the Coleg’s partnership with the Further Education Colleges grow from strength to strength. I would like to wish them all well as they create resources and recruit perspective students over the years to come.’’
