Catherine Rees recognised for her contribution to supporting Welsh in HR

Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol Senior Corporate Affairs Manager recognised for best use of the Welsh Language in HR

Catherine Rees, Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol Senior Corporate Affairs Manager has won national recognition for her use of the Welsh language in HR in a special ceremony at the first Wales HR Awards.

The event has been created by the Wales HR Network, a leading networking platform for HR professionals which is partnered by Acorn, Wales’ specialist recruitment and training agency and Cardiff-based commercial law firm Darwin Gray.

Catherine Rees was nominated in two categories namely the best use of the Welsh in HR (individual) and the best professional human resources Worker in the Education Sector/Public Sector. Catherine won the category for the best use of Welsh in HR (individual).

Catherine Rees said:

“It’s a pleasure to receive this award and I would very much like to thank everyone for their support. I firmly believe that using Welsh naturally whilst implementing and developing HR in Wales is an important step for every company.”
