Posts funded from the Academic Staffing Scheme will be located at the succesful Higher Education Institutions and each post will be funded for up to five years. Post holders will be responsible for teaching and developing Welsh medium provision in their specific subject fields. Although the main duties of post holders will focus on teaching students, they will also be required to contribute to the academic culture of Welsh universities through research, facilitating collaboration between departments and institutions, and promoting the Welsh language within their subject fields and institutions.
