The Edward Llwyd project works in collaboration with universities throughout Wales to maintain and extend the range of Welsh medium provision available to those studying academic subjects, such as as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Mathematics.
The project also collaborates with schools and further education colleges to promote existing provision and to raise awareness of the long term advantages of studying science subjects through the medium of Welsh.
Canolfan Edward Llwyd was originally established in 2002. The project now operates under the wing of Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol.
