After graduating, Rhiannon worked with Arad Goch theatre company, performing in over ten productions.

She also had many experiences with other theatre companies, including a period as an intern for a groundbreaking performance company, The Wooster Group, in New York.

She then returned to Aberystwyth University to study for an MA, where she gained valuable experiences learning the value of performance and theatre and found her own creative voice and her research interests.

In 2009, she received a Research Scholarship from the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol to study towards a doctorate at the University of South Wales’s Drama and Performance Department where she researched ‘the Welsh chapel, neighbourhood and performance’, and contributed to teaching work in the department
