Modern Languages Summer School

Title: Year 12 Modern Languages Summer School (Welsh medium)

Date: Monday 2 July and Tuesday 3 July

Time: Starts at 10am Monday 2 July

Finishes at 2pm Tuesday 3 July

Location: Singleton Campus, Swansea University

Content: The aim of the event is to give Year 12 A-Level students an opportunity to practice and revise in their target language (French, German and/or Spanish). This will help prepare them for Year 13 and will provide a taste of studying Modern Languages through the medium of Welsh at university.

Registration: Teachers or Bilingual Champions (at the FE Colleges) can register on the students’ behalf. Teachers are welcome to attend the summer school but a member of Coleg Cymraeg staff will be present at all times (including overnight). Register, by putting your students’ names and the languages they are studying in an email to: rh.jones@colegcymraeg.ac.uk
