He received a first class honours degree in Mathematics before going on to study towards a Master’s degree in modelling complex liquids (Applied Mathematics) at Aberystwyth University. Following this, he went on to study towards a doctorate (also at Aberystwyth) focusing on modelling the interactions between two dimensional aqueous foam and hard objects using numerical simulations.
After finishing his research, Tudur went on to work on a joint research project between the Computer Science Department and the Institute of Mathematics and Physics (Aberystwyth University) in modelling and imaging complex materials.
Subject / Speciality
- Modelling how complex liquids such as aqueous foam respond in different situations
- Developing computer based numerical simulation of liquid flow
