Originally from Anglesey, Dr Edward Jones is a graduate of Bangor University, where he received a BA (Hons) in Mathematics and Economics and an MA (Hons) in Banking and Finance. He then worked on a DEFRA-funded research project to model the efficiency of farms across Wales, before moving on to gain extensive experience of working in banking, especially in credit risk modelling and analysis. Edward gained his PhD at Bangor University. The title of his research was 'The growth of conurbations in post-war Britain: A historical perspective.'
