Board of Directors
Applications are invited for new members to serve on the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol’s Board of Directors.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are keen to use their skills and experiences to join a team that leads an ambitious national planning body for which the Welsh language is at the heart of its purpose and vision.
We are looking specifically for individuals who who can lead strategically and who have experience of doing so at a high level. The Coleg's responsibilities have expanded in recent years to include further education and apprenticeships, and so those sectors offer exciting new opportunities for the Coleg. We are looking in particular for people who have experience and a strategic understanding of vocational training, and who appreciate the major contribution the Coleg can make to developing bilingual, highly skilled workforces while also contributing to Wales's economic growth and the Million Welsh-speakers policy agenda. We also want to ensure that we have a Board that reflects the population of Wales, so we are looking specifically to increase the representation of Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) people.
The appointments will be for four years. Usually the commitment will require the equivalent of one day a month of your time.
