Why choose to study the degree subject: I wanted to increase my performance skills and follow a successful career in Welsh language acting.
Why choose to study in Welsh: There are more opportunities in the industry for Welsh speakers. I also feel more comfortable studying in Welsh.
What's the best thing about studying the course in Welsh: Being able to socialise and work through the medium of Welsh with young people who share my interests.
Any advice for prospective students concerned about studying in Welsh: There's absolutely no need to worry about your language skills. There will be plenty of support and advice available for you!
Why apply to be an ambassador: I applied because I feel I have a number of things to offer the Coleg Cymraeg, and I look forward to working with the young people of Wales. I felt it was an opportunity I couldn't miss.
What do you enjoy most about being in university in Wales: I feel that I'm right at the heart of a vibrant student life in Cardiff, and I'm loving every second of it. But another good thing is that it costs less.
Hobbies: Singing, acting, running, shopping, attending the theatre
Likes: Primark (ideal for a student), chicken nuggets, Malibu, Christmas, Bela (my dog)
Dislikes: Sweetcorn, rain, helping dad with the sheep
Favourite Welsh language programme/film: Pobol y Cwm / Martha, Jac a Sianco
Any other interesting facts about you: I spent four weeks over the summer volunteering in Nepal helping out in communities. I have also won an eisteddfod chair four times cosecutively
