Why did you choose to study the degree subject?
I love organising things, especially events. I'd like to run my own business in the future, but before then, I need to gain experience.
Why chose to study through the medium of Welsh?
Welsh is my first language, and I was a student in Welsh-medium schools.
What's the best thing about studying a course partly through the medium of Welsh?
I receive a lot of support from the lecturers as there are fewer students in the class.
Any advice for prospective students who are worried about studying in Welsh?
As I'm an older student and it's been a long time since I left school, I was worried, but there is no need to worry because there is plenty of help available. I now feel as if I've been writing in Welsh for years.
Would you encourage others to apply for a Coleg Cymraeg scholarship and why?
Yes, it's a good amount of additional money for completing your work in your first language.
Why did you apply to be an ambassador and what are you most looking forward to?
I would encourage students to study through the medium of Welsh in order to gain experience of using the language, and in order to meet lots of people.
What do you enjoy most about being at university?
Learning new things every day about a subject I'm passionate about.
Leisure interests?
Going to the gym and socialising with friends and family.
Favourite things?
Watching a film with my family on a Sunday
Least favourite things?
